Hey Everyone!
The sun is just starting to shine here this morning after some rain last night… and I’m about to take a mountain bike ride around in the hills. Let me tell you, this place is amazing! CK is a UNESCO listed (protected culture site) town in the south of Czech…and it is pretty much the same as in 1500. I think I’ll be able to post a few pics now…and then add some more to this post later.
And thanks everyone for the comments and emails! Elena – yeah, I did see the Jewish Cemetary in Prague… I added a pic for everyone else to see as the first on of this post. Wish I would have known about the Pink Cathedral – didn’t see that.
And for all the CHL folks – I hope you enjoyed the picnic – I missed seeing you all there!
Have a great day y’all!
Nate

Greetings from Prague,
I’ve been here 4 days now…having a very social time! The hostel that I am staying at is a hub of 24 hour action. I’ve enjoyed spending time seeing the sights with other travellers…and hearing about their experiences and recommendations for places that they have been and I will be going. More than anything else, travel is about the people. So it’s been great!
I’ve got some other thoughts about people and perceptions and America that I hope to share some thoughts on later.
Also, I had previously mentioned that I might post some art from Paris… well, the pictures didn’t turn out that well…so I’m going to pass on that.
As far as my plans – I’m going to stay in Prague for one more night, then take a bus down to Cesky Krumlov in the south of Czech. Then on to Budapest, I expect.
Thanks so much for all your emails and posts – I’ve definitely enjoyed having the connect to home! Sometimes I don’t get internet access for days at a time…and that will soon become even more seldom, so I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
Peace,
Nate
